Mike McClung
Using a variety of media, I explore geometries, languages, architecture, organics and the randomness of nature.

I continue the burn with multiple layers of paper, burning imagery through each layer. I love to explore the interplay of light and shadow and the manipulation of the the viewer's eye to explore movement and depth.  These works are fun for me and I hope that you will like them. This series walks the line between decorative and abstraction; alternating my frequent botanic imagery with industrial and geometric patterns to examine archeology, and specifically, the constant building, decay and rebuilding that we can find throughout history.

Burns
In the Burn Series, I explore geometries, languages, architecture, organics and the randomness of nature through a simple process of burning the images in my mind onto paper.

Prints
In the prints I explore the same issues and themes while taking the work into new directions by adding color.
